WHY TAKING NOTES?
-universities are 95% are note taking and 5% other stuff so if you good at taking important notes you have no problems for graduate with deans list.Insya-Allah
WHAT IS TAKING NOTES?
taking notes is take our lecturer idea and express it in our way or word so we will more understand the point that lecturer wanted to show
WHY REVIEW NOTES?
- we will lost 80% information after several hour
- there is no time to absorb all important information
- review any information that you do not understand,ready some question for lecturer in next class
-cornell method is one of the famous among student to taking notes because its simply divides up your notes into 3 section
*the right column is main that keeps most important information are covered during class
*the left column are key words to main ideas and best writes in margin it will help us to better understand
*the bottom column are should be left blank and it is intended for use during review notes
SPLIT PAGE METHOD
-have some similiraty with cornell method but it is only divide into two section vertically which is main &secondary ideas
-it will better optimize your study when review notes
VISUAL AIDS
The use of visual aids are for improve brain process information much efficient,it involves uses of graphic material such as picture or graph.the use of different sizes of alphabet,different colour or other visual element.because of this,mind maps are most widespread and most effective taking notes strategy among student.these notes taking strategy makes it develope ideas and connected it easily in a visual environment
UNDERLINE KEY POINTS
It is easier when you want to identify a important key or ideas when you highlighted the idea rather than you read it again a whole page or topic.you can also pharaphrasing author idea use your own word or style much easier
